It’s now 10pm on New Years Day and I’m sitting down for the first time after doing a major clean out, I don’t even think I instagramed today. 😧 I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to start 2016 right and I guess that meant pulling my whole house apart and sifting thru a multitude of beauty products, too many jeans to count and workout clothes that needed to retire. I didn’t plan it, it just happened which makes it so much better. I just kept going until the house looked like a minimalist dream.

Then I ended up reading this article (YAY, already fulfilling “Reading More” one of my New Year’s Resolutions) “5 Life Lessons From The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F*ck” which I highly recommend you read. It made me laugh and it really makes you think on all the time we waste. I sent the article to my sisters and one of my sisters wrote back saying whats your #nof*ksgiven moment for 2016 and I really had to think about it. Finally I had it #nof*ksgivenaboutworkingharderthisyearonlysmarter I know way #toolong but its so true I find myself working so hard when I don’t need to. This year I am definitely going to implement new ways of working smarter vs harder.

  • I think a clean out is a perfect way to start the year! I love this look. The layers are perfect, and that cape is such a great touch!

Thanks Amber and yes I highly recommend a clean out. I feel like I’ve let stuff go for new things to come in to my life.

  • This look is incredible! I love how you layered all of the different shapes xx Gorgeous
