This piece is like a second skin to me, something I grab without even thinking about. That’s why I had to be specific with the location of this shoot. What other location is more perfect to represent the art of Los Angeles than The Walt Disney Concert Hall? Art is really all around us, whether it’s a beautiful painting, architecture, an outfit or a watch.
These images remind me of the early morning hours, still dark and cool but everything is alive and radiating with bold, beautiful energy. I went dark, a more vampy vibe, when I styled my favorite Halston dress for this shoot. I drew inspiration from the small yet dramatic details, from the cut out sleeves, to the elegant layers and the hi-lo hems.
Haven’t been in the mood to write a lot lately (don’t really have that much to say) and I think people aren’t really reading as much with how fast the world is going. I do try to make time for it but I need a very cut down version, basically the cliff notes version. So here goes, short and to the point: Knits have been ruling my closet lately so I decided to create a story around all things knitwear.
